Last Living Book

                                                                                Last Living Book
I’m not very religious by any means, I do not pray or go to church. I have never read the Bible but if I was the last book in existence I would have to be the Bible. The Bible is an important book in many people’s lives. People live by it every day and it comforts many more people to have it around.
The Bible being the only book around would not only benefit people but I believe that it would help maintain some order throughout society because there would be some guidelines and rules to follow. The Bible is very important in the sense that it allows people to live their lives without being scared, it shows them that they are not alone and will not be alone even when they die.  Having something that comforting still around would be very important if there happened to not be any more books, it would still give something to its readers or followers to fill their imaginations with.
Some people would argue the point that this would be a ridiculous idea and there could possibly be a far greater book because all the Bible does is “brainwash” people into believing that there is a greater existence when it has never been shown to anyone.  They could also argue the ideas that the book would bring to people and how it all could be very false and it should not be something read.
In a time with no books I believe that this would be the one book in existence to stay. Not because I’m a religious person or believe in the Bible to no extent but because it’s an important piece of world history. I’m someone who does not agree with certain things or sayings that come from the Bible, but I do know how it is very important not only to people but too many cultures all throughout the world. This is why if I was the only book left it would have to be the Bible.
